Banshee bikes is now, going into its 8th year of operation and the lineup which started as one bike has now grown to 9 with a few changes along the way. 2008 saw a complete overhaul of the line to better align our bikes with what was going on currently in riding. I’ve always said if you want to see where bikes are going in the future you need to look no further then what the trail builders are doing. In Canada things were starting to be built with more flow and speed and competitions such as Crankworx were coming into their own with riders looking for something easier to trick. The current line of Banshee’s includes all we’ve learned in our prior experience while taking the best cutting edge technology that is available to the industry to create models that target specifically the riding segment that it’s intended to represent. At first, I wasn't so sure about making a 160mm bike. I mean, our Snyper 140 is an excellent trail bike. But after one ride, I realized that it's the perfect bike for the kind of rough riding I like to do. It pedals well, so I can get up all the loose and rocky boulders that normally challenge me, but at the same time, just flat out rips the descents.
