I really am happy with my Jamis Coda. I needed a bike with flat handlebars for my very arthritic hands, a low crossbar for my short legs, and no clips for my clip phobia. I wouldn't be riding a road bike if it weren't for this bike. And of course it is my favorite color!
My daughter has the jamis ventura femme, also purchased at Souhegan Cycleworks, and we love these bikes. Hers is very light and very responsive. She insisted on taking it across the country on vacation and I think it was well worth it for her as we had some great rides in the high desert of Washington.
